Hillsborough School Board votes to remove challenged book from middle school

On Tuesday, the Hillsborough County School District voted to remove the book, "This Book is Gay," from a middle school after it was challenged in a special meeting. The book has caused debate from parents who believe it’s not age appropriate. “Two and half years ago, my daughter came home and asked me to purchase a certain book for her,” said Julie Gebhards.
