Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson do not get along. They have not shared a common opinion for many years. Johnson accused his former co-star of "manipulation" by bringing in his (Diesel's) kids and Paul Walker, the late actor who played one of the series' key characters, in the most recent round of hostilities. Johnson flatly refused Diesel's invitation to join the Fast and Furious franchise.
Diesel had informed his "little brother" Johnson that "the time has arrived" in November while posting a still of their characters from The Fate of the Furious on Instagram. In addition, he said that he will craft the best Fast & Furious finale as a promise to Pablo (Vin Diesel's alias for Paul Walker).

Dwayne Johnson is extended a helping hand by Vin Diesel, who implores him to rejoin the Fast & Furious franchise. Hobbs is unplayable by anyone else,
"I say this because I love... Nonetheless, you must appear; do not neglect the franchise; you have a crucial duty to perform, Diesel emphasized.
In an interview with CNN, Johnson stated: "I personally informed [Diesel] that I would not be returning to the franchise. I was polite but strong in my communication, stating that I would always support the cast and wish the franchise success but that there was no chance of me coming back.
Vin's most recent public post, he said, was an illustration of his manipulation. I objected to the fact that he included both the passing of Paul Walker and his children in the piece. Don't include them in it. We had a strong idea of this after speaking about it months earlier.
Johnson made his franchise debut in 2011's Fast Five as a diplomat security service agent. He played the same part in the films Fast & Furious 6 (2013), Furious 7 (2015), and The Fate of the Furious (2017).
What was occurring behind the scenes was unknown to the fans. The first indication of the stars' differences came from Johnson's incredibly revealing Instagram post. And the conflict was made public. "My female co-stars are always fantastic and I love 'em," the now-deleted post stated. But my male co-stars are a another matter. Some men behave in a manly and truly professional manner, while others don't. Those that don't are too chickenshit to take action regardless. Sweet a**es. When you watch this movie in April and think I'm not acting while my blood is actually boiling, you'll be right.
Likewise in Hollywood
JK Rowling rekindled Alan Rickman's interest in Harry Potter when she revealed Snape's secret.
Afterwards, Johnson admitted that while he meant what he said in an interview with Vanity Fair, he regretted having said it online. The result was a firestorm. Yet, it was oddly enough that every single person of the team seemed to find me and either quietly express their gratitude or send me a message. However, as I mentioned earlier, it wasn't my best day. I ought not to have mentioned that. Because that ultimately goes against my genetic makeup. I don't talk about something like that. The superstar added, "And I deal with that kind of bulls**t away from the public.
He (Diesel) and I had a good chat in my trailer, and it was out of that chat that it really just became crystal evident that we are two distinct ends of the spectrum, Johnson stated when speaking about a subsequent encounter with his former co-star. and consented to let it remain there.
