The popular manga series Knights of the Zodiac by Masami Kurumada will soon be adapted for the big screen as Saint Seiya: The Beginning. According to rumors, Toei approved it in cooperation with the ARGF, a Hong Kong-based production company, and it will be an English-language movie. According to the most recent IMDB cast listings, Mackenyu Arata will play the roles of the brothers Phoenix Ikki and Andromeda Shun, respectively. Tomasz Bagiski will direct the film, and Yoshi Ikezawa and Joseph Chou of Toei Animation will also produce it. Kurumada himself will serve as an executive producer. The actual date of release is now 2023.

Story
Seiya, a street orphan, learns he is supposed to defend the young girl and preserve the world when a goddess of war reincarnates in her body. But only if he is willing to confront his past and accept the role of a Knight of the Zodiac.
