Here's a recipe for high protein oats:
Ingredients:
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp flaxseeds
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 banana, mashed
1 tbsp honey
1/4 cup chopped nuts (such as almonds or walnuts)
1/4 cup fresh berries (such as blueberries or strawberries)
Instructions:
In a saucepan, combine the rolled oats and almond milk. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.
Reduce the heat to medium-low and add the vanilla whey protein powder, chia seeds, flaxseeds, and cinnamon. Stir until well combined.
Add the mashed banana and honey to the oats and stir until well combined. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes or until the oats are thick and creamy.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
Divide the oats into two bowls and top each bowl with chopped nuts and fresh berries.
Enjoy your high protein oats for breakfast or as a post-workout meal!
