AP: Nashville shooter was ex-student with detailed plan to kill

The individual who was once a student at a Christian elementary school in Nashville and responsible for killing three children and three adults had meticulously planned the attack by creating a detailed map of the school that included possible entry points, and conducting surveillance of the building beforehand.

Although Metropolitan Nashville Police Chief John Drake did not reveal the shooter’s exact motive for unleashing gunfire at The Covenant School on Monday morning, he shared disturbing evidence of the attacker’s intricate preparations for the specific assault.

This tragic incident is one of several mass shootings that have left the nation increasingly alarmed by violence in educational institutions, the Associated Press reported.
