Londoners stand united against Sadiq Khan's 'Ultra Low Emissions Zone', which fines people £180 for driving cars that don't meet arbitrary minimum emissions standards. The problem is all those people having cars were disrespecting everyone for years with their pollution, accidents in trafic, destroying green spaces in the city, causing stress to walkers, making a lot of noise...And now they act like they dont deserve this. For years the drivers didnt have an association (because they believed everyone should drive a car, and second that everyone does in fact drive a car), they didn't do anything for the benefit of the city (instead destroyed a city) and now they organise? 15 minute cities of course is a socialist ideea and doesnt really solve the core problem but these drivers also didnt propose a better ideea and there are a few.
