Project Crescent aims to tap into the collective intelligence of the public at large. This project allows researchers to collect high volumes of interesting data points from a wide variety of individuals who enjoy annotation work, and want to have an opportunity to participate in different types of tasks. These Human Intelligence Tasks (HITs) are used in a wide variety of applications such as data annotation, multimedia, sentiment analysis and search engine result evaluation.
