Sophia Stewart is a prodigy, a talented screenwriter, author of several books on Matrix and Terminator, poet, and attorney who graduated from CUNY and went to grad school at the University of Southern California in the 80’s. She is from New York City and have a degree in Journalism with double Majors in law and psychology . She wrote "The Third Eye Matrix," a groundbreaking science fiction copyrighted book and script that was later adapted as the "Matrix" and "Terminator" films.

Even though she faced controversy over the origins of the franchises, Stewart persisted in fighting for true recognition and compensation for her groundbreaking work that won four Oscars and in 2014, she won a historic legal victory in a Utah federal court that validated her as the creator and owner of the "Matrix" and "Terminator" franchises. The court awarded her $3.5 billion in liens and almost half a million dollars in attorney fees, solidifying her place in film history as a trailblazing American black woman whose visionary work has inspired millions if not billions around the world.

Fans of the "Matrix" and "Terminator" franchises know just how big of an impact these films have had on popular culture, and we owe a lot to Sophia Stewart for her groundbreaking work.
