Blinders Off: My Generation Needs to Fight for Freedom (ft. Caroline Smith)

If ever you’re tempted to lose hope about our nation, Elaine Beck has a message for you.

AmericaFest, Turning Point USA’s national conference, is known for highlighting many great things: a stellar lineup of speakers from across the movement, one of the best networking opportunities for conservatives, not to mention Charlie Kirk’s stage presence and leadership. Yet none of these are the main act.

Countless times, Elaine Beck reminds her “It’s Not About Us” guests — especially when they’re close to losing heart: “Look around. How can you not be inspired by so many upbeat, bright, and passionate young people who want to do the right thing and help bring their country back to God?”

Caroline Smith, today’s guest is one such inspiring individual: A 16-year-old Alabaman who, following her Democratic governor’s pandemic-era decision to attempt to shutter churches, decided to take action.

Her logic?

“If I don’t fight for freedom then I’m giving them permission to take it away from me,” Smith said.

And that’s not going to happen on her watch. Smith is the host of her own radio show and with 28,000 followers on Instagram she is a tour de force in her own right.
