Maui Burst is a Mountain Dew flavor released exclusively in Dollar General stores in October 2019 for a limited time before being released as a permanent flavor since January 2020 within the same store in the United States. Maui Burst is a Pineapple flavor of Mountain Dew and has a yellow look, having a comparable tasting flavor and color to that of both Flavor 286 and Baja Gold.

While Maui Burst tends to shift to a more natural Pineapple flavor, Baja Gold tends to lean toward the more artificial Pineapple flavor.
