“It’s difficult to lead when you face the challenges of people, production and profit. Its more difficult to lead when you realize or even feel like you’re doing so all alone. Leaders who are training up leaders should be astute enough to realize when someone they are mentoring is struggling. Whether the challenge is a self inflicted misstep, a true failure, a genuine mistake or it is the efforts of someone else who is working to sabotage their leadership impact, as their mentor they need your input asap. Advise them as much as they will allow, but make sure you are aware of the issue and not remaining silent.” J Loren Norris
