The motet, “Jesu, meine Freude” (Jesus, my joy) is structured in eleven sections.
In this collection, they have been grouped into 4 parts.
Part Two, section 1 presents the hymn in 4-parts. The second section is a trio for the upper three voices. The third section is a dramatic combination of homophonic and unison writing.
This is an arrangement by Richard Byrnes for 3 Trumpets, Horn, & 2 Trombones.
