Emergence of Rittvikvada

The Rittvik movement, generically speaking, contends that eleven zonal acharya pretenders were never anything more than rittviks, and furthermore, they should have continued initiating devotees as rittviks, just as they did prior to Prabhupäda’s disappearance. One of the reasons today’s rittviks jump to this conclusion is their belief that the diksha-guru can only be an uttama-adhikäri, but such a mahäbhägavat would automatically also be a Successor Äcärya to Srila Prabhupäda. Today’s rittviks wrongly reject the concept of "regular guru".
