Tesla company says the autopilot avoided this accident but there is no proof

Just a discussion between a person that says yes and another saying no.
There's no evidence autopilot handled it. From my experience human response time is still faster than that of Autopilot and I hope it was the driver who avoided the collision. There's absolutely no way that the driver saw the crash and be like "nah, I'll let autopilot handle it". autopilot/FSD are still not capable enough to handle this situation. And definitely not faster than a human unless the driver was distracted. So I hope that the driver did see the crash and did respond because if he didn't he would most likely crash as well.
Second person: FSD Beta runs at 24 fps, human reaction time is approximately 3.3-5.

Me: What is typical human reaction time to visual stimuli?

ChatGPT-4: Typical human reaction time to visual stimuli varies between individuals and depends on factors such as age, cognitive function, and alertness. On average, the reaction time for visual stimuli falls in the range of 200 to 300 milliseconds (ms) for most people.
First person: Autopilot doesn't respond based on a single frame. To make decisions it needs to process multiple frames in a temporal and spatial context.Even then there's no guarantee it makes right decisions. That's why you can't fully trust it, especially if there's a tire flying towards you
