Guided Love and Kindness Meditation for Beginners | 10 Minutes

Welcome to this Meditation For Beginners, where we will guide you through a practice of loving-kindness.

Start by finding a comfortable position that allows you to keep your spine straight, either sitting or lying down. Take a deep breath in and out, and let's begin our meditation practice.

Become aware of where you place your hands. If you are seated, you can rest them gently on your lap or place them palms down on your knees. If you are lying down, let them rest comfortably by your side.

Now, imagine a person you dearly love sitting in front of you and visualize a connection of energy from your heart to theirs. Feel the love and warmth flowing through this connection.

Repeat "May I be well, happy, and peaceful" and "May you be well, happy, and peaceful" for two minutes, feeling the warmth of loving-kindness.

Visualize the connection becoming a circle of light that surrounds you both, radiating warmth and peace to all beings. Repeat, "May we be well, happy, and peaceful. May all beings be well, happy, and peaceful" for two minutes.

Turn your attention to your body and notice your feelings and sensations. Breathe naturally and when you are ready, slowly open your eyes.

See yourself and your loved one radiating this light of loving-kindness out into infinity and silently repeat, "May we be well, happy, and peaceful. May all beings be well, happy, and peaceful."

As you continue to breathe naturally, feel the warmth of loving-kindness in your body, recognize the feelings that flow from your heart out into the universe, and the universal friendliness reflected in your own heart.
