Mercury in the Role of the Psychopomp

The ancients linked the role of the psychopomp (soul guide) to Mercury because the god Hermes managed to move freely between the worlds (dimensions). The planet closest to the Sun is constantly filled with light, and we can observe it in three positions: either before sunrise, or after sunset, or it disappears completely, that is how it became the guide of the souls. Mercury is now in Aries, and it is twice faster than usual, thus within a few days it crosses over the celestial bodies in the sign of Mars, which presents a great opportunity to show how it works as the astrological psychopomp.
