Straddling the Fence

Are you, or someone you know trying to straddle the fence? Do you claim to be, "Not of This World," but are trying to keep one foot in it while attempting to place the other in the Kingdom? Striving for material success; storing up your treasures on earth rather than the eternal Kingdom of God, may lead to serious trouble in the next life. We are all going to die, and we are all going to have an eternal life; the question is, where? We are constantly warned about the love of money and material things but many of us think we can straddle that fence successfully. In this time of Lenten reflection maybe we all can take a hard look at whether or not we are actually listening to what God has commanded. Remember this? Have you written those commandments on your heart, on the hearts of your children and on the doorframes of your homes and gates?

Deuteronomy 6: 6-9: These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.

A special thank you to the Canadian country band, One Ugly Cowboy, Steve Bannon's War Room , and Max Evans' Ultra MAGA Party.
