Capturing the Fort of Fortune in Stealth Mode

The Calliope, captained by Solstice01, decides to take on a Fort of Fortune. After completing all waves up to the final boss, it starts to look like our intrepid crew will claim the spoils without incident, but a Reaper crew decides to be an incident. The fight goes about as well as expected in the first round, but the Calliope returns to claim vengeance. The Fort's Warden proves to be a difficult foe, and before Solstice01 and CyberKnight can complete their task, another crew comes in for an easy steal. Solstice01 leaves CyberKnight behind and takes the new challengers to battle further out to sea, but he is unable to best his foes in naval combat and is ultimately sunk. Thinking the battle has been lost, Solstice01 leaves. Meanwhile, CyberKnight has been chipping away at the Warden, and, as the enemy sloop claims the supplies from the sinking Calliope, CyberKnight deals the Warden a finishing blow, claims the key, and opens the Fort. CyberKnight immediately starts burying the treasure around the Fort, anticipating the enemy crew's arrival at any moment, except... he witnesses their sloop sink into the depths. Did they think the Fort despawned? Did they fear an attack by the Reaper, that was circling at a distance like a predator? We may never know. CyberKnight calls Solstice01 back to the game for a chance to claim the loot once and for all, and, despite communication problems with an uncooperative Xbox Live, our heroes find and load up a rowboat with the most prized treasures for a quick sale at Dagger Tooth Outpost. Solstice01 is called away for other duties, so CyberKnight decides to make one last return trip to Hidden Spring Keep to grab what remaining treasures he can get his pirate hands on, and sells for a few more coin, slipping past the sloop at Reaper's Hideout for the final sale of a generous gift.
