Savannah, Georgia: Visiting Fort Pulaski (GaaG Classic: 2/22/21)

Fort Pulaski is a Civil War era fort outside of Savannah Georgia. It's currently recognized as a National Monument in the Unite States. I had the opportunity to visit Fort Pulaski and walk the fields surrounding it.

Fort Pulaski was also used as a prison and at one point held the infamous "Immortal 600." I knew very little about these 600 men prior to visiting. However, since I visited I've been reading a lot about what happened with them.
