'I can EMPHATHISE with Julian!' | Thomas Tuchel on Julian Nagelsmann sacking

New Bayern Munich head coach Thomas Tuchel said he can empathise with predecessor Julian Nagelsmann, who was sacked by the club on Friday.

Speaking to the media for the first time since taking his new role, Tuchel said on Saturday: "It´s never nice. We all know that a position of a coach is only available if it was made free. That´s the logic of the business. And it's not like I haven't suffered it before as well."

Tuchel takes over a Bayern side that currently sit one point behind German Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund and are in the last eight of the Champions League, although 'The Bavarians' had lost two of their last five Bundesliga games under Nagelsmann.
