Das Goat Fire in Medina County - Over 1K Acres & Multiple Homes Destroyed March 25th, 2022 #wildlife

This video was made on the 1 year anniversary of this fire & reviews what happened in Medina County Texas on a lonely road one Friday night, March 25th, 2022, when a car broke down on the side of the road and caught the weeds on fire. Guess the driver didn't have a fire extinguisher available, but the resulting fire burned up over 1,000 acres and a handful of homes. Multiple nearby communities were forced to evacuate, while others downwind were placed on notice to stand by for possible evacuation. Fire crews worked thru the night, non stop, in rotating shifts to contain the fire and protect property.

Our thanks to the @MicoGhostTheOldCodger for sharing his footage with us, taken during the fire. He was in one of the communities on standby, but was just outside the TFR (Temporary Flight Restriction) area, so was able to pop his Mavic 3 drone up in the air and take advantage of the awesome built-in zoom that this drone is so famous for having.
