And of course he would call it that because that justifies his military actions.
If we look at history the Axis was acting exactly like Putin and Russian Army today, invading countries and moving forward as a response and not liking the current order. Nazy also said they are fighting against Masonic forces. Putins speech is in fact very similar to Hitlers. And of course countries, democratic countries create military alliances to protect themselves against states like Russia and China.
And the only reasons why Russia doesnt have military alliances with China or with virutally anyone is BECAUSE DONT COUNTRIES DONT TRUST RUSSIA. Those governments know (even China) that you cant trust the Russians. Otherwise there would be much more military actions between Russia and China, especially since those exercises are not internationally banned. This factor completely escapes Putin as he thinks he is clever.
