Albert Einstein biography

Albert Einstein was born on March 14, 1879, in Ulm, Germany. He grew up in a secular Jewish family and was interested in mathematics and physics from a young age.
In 1905, at the age of 26, he published a series of papers that revolutionized the field of theoretical physics.
These papers discussed topics such as special relativity, mass-energy equivalence (E=mc²), and the photoelectric effect.

Einstein's work on relativity challenged the idea of absolute space and time and showed that the laws of physics are the same for all non-accelerating observers. His famous equation, E=mc²,
showed that mass and energy are equivalent and led to the development of nuclear energy.

In 1915, Einstein published his theory of general relativity, which explained gravity as the curvature of spacetime by mass and energy.
This theory was confirmed by observations of the solar eclipse in 1919.

Throughout his life, Einstein also worked on the development of quantum mechanics, the study of subatomic particles.
However, he was never fully satisfied with the interpretations of the theory and famously stated,
"God does not play dice with the universe."

Einstein immigrated to the United States in 1933, after the rise of the Nazi party in Germany.
He took a position at Princeton University and continued his work in physics until his death in 1955.
