Wacana sistem pemilu proporsional tertutup atau sistem coblos partai kembali muncul. Ini disampaikan oleh Ketua Komisi Pemilihan Umum (KPU) Hasyim Asy'ari yang menyebut ada peluang sistem proporsional tertutup ini diterapkan di Pemilu 2024, pasca ada gugatan di Mahkamah Konstitusi (MK).
Namun, wacana ini justru mendapat kritik. Peneliti Perludem menyebut pemilih akan semakin ditinggalkan oleh proses pemilu dengan sistem ini. Lalu, apa kekurangan lain dari sistem ini
