Here's why Putin feeds his doubles with poison.
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin's doppelgangers are fed poison before being released to the public. This is necessary to keep them under control, according to former Russian intelligence officer and journalist Sergei Zhironov, who also noted that the doppelgangers are given an antidote after being poisoned.

"You release Putin in public, you give him a poison that will take effect in two hours. And you tell him about it. And after two hours, you give him an antidote. And he knows that if he doesn't do something, they won't give him the antidote, and he'll just die," Zhironov said.

When asked if this is still being done in Russia, Zhironov replied, "How else can you keep a doppelganger? Can you imagine a doppelganger going to a stadium and saying, 'Today I confess, I committed a crime, I'm ending the war, I'm ordering the arrest of Gerasimov, Patrushev, Bortnikov, and so on.' And that's it. And what are you going to do with that? Or they kill him... and that's the end."

Zhironov also commented on whether there are doppelgangers of Alexander Lukashenko: "I don't think so. I think he's so distrustful, so absorbed in his personal power."
According to the expert, Lukashenko enjoys public speaking, but Putin doesn't like it: "And he's lazy.
