Palmetto State Armory AR-10 at the Range

Shooting the PSA AR-10 at the range - rough weather, but fun anyway. Tried out my Cabela's 5x25x56 Covenant 5 Scope (came free with my RRA LAR-8). The scope doesn't want to go lower and at it's lowest setting, I'm still not at zero at 100-yards. I thought it might be the mount, but unfortunately, it's probably the scope. Yep, I can shim it, and I may for another rifle, but I switched at the range to a 3x9x50 Vortex Crossfire II I have (extra) and wow, that glass is so much better.

So, I ran 5x25x56 for most of this, then 3x9x50 for the last. The PSA AR-10 is AWESOME for the money!!! The RRA LAR-8 is a $2k AR-10, the PSA will set you back $850 range. The PSA is pretty dang accurate for the price!!!

I just picked up a new optic for the PSA, nothing to crazy (https://vortexoptics.com/vortex-diamondback-tactical-6-24x50-ffp-riflescope+reticle-EBR-2C~MRAD) - next time out, I'll be running this optic.

Enjoy!
