Today we have a complete guided tour with historical background of one of the Wonders of the world. Chichen Itza! Pyramid Located in the region of Yucatan Mexico. As I leave my Air BnB from Valladolid, I drive over to the site. See the pyramid, Temple of the warriors, Venus Temple, Temple of the Jaguar & Eagles, Ceremonial Ball Court & also the Sacred Cenote(temple of the gods) or Cenote Sagrado in Spanish. We talk about so many historical facts about the site, The gods, the bird clapping sound, the equinoxes, some site recommendations. The maya people, their history & the changes that occured in their civilization once the Toltec empire took over & effectively merged with their civilazation. The sacrifices also known as Sacred offerings. The history after the Spanish invaded and much more! Must watch. I added my own little signature to this footage also.
