Statement by Press Centre Chief of Yug Group of Forces

◽️ In Seversk direction, reconnaissance units of the 2nd Army Corps detected a position of a Polish-made Ukrainian Krab system. The Grad multiple rocket launcher neutralised the enemy artillery vehicle and its crew. The howitzer battery of the 2nd Army Corps also destroyed an observation post and an enemy firing position (a gun and a mortar crew from the 81st AFU brigade).

◽️ In the Avdeevka direction, the Msta-B howitzer battery of the Southern Military District artillery brigade eliminated a platoon stronghold with manpower and firepower while supporting assault groups.

◽️ In the Donetsk direction close to Maryinka, the assault units of the Southern MD’s motorised rifle unit destroyed an enemy infantry group of 8, and also shot down an improvised unmanned aerial vehicle during a small-arms battle. During a counterbattery warfare operation near the industrial zone of Georgievka, the Msta-S battery of the Southern Military District unit neutralised an AFU D-20 artillery gun with its crew.
