It is March 2023, and we are fishing in American Falls, ID. Home to some of the most massive trouts in the state of Idaho. It is a cold Saturday and the spring is near with majority of the snow already starting to melt. This is the perfect time of the year to target massive trout (especially rainbows) that are starting to run up the river to spawn. This time of the year is catch and release only and we will be using barbless hooks only.
