Roll With Me: Remix 2 (Short Clip)

Today, rather than Birthday wishes, I am celebrating the day in the life of a legend this #WomensHistoryMonth. Yes, a legend! A title that is deserving, warranted, and well earned. Rise up Queen and collect your flowers. You deserve them and more. The first Black female celebrity spokesmodel at age 24 (Jet, 1998; Smith, 2022; Who's Who Among African Americans, 2011), the actress, the singer, the b-baller, the fashionista, the activist, and the beauty with brains and brawn who almost was an obstetrician. You did that! Now take a bow and know that your contributions and milestones have not gone unnoticed, and the impact you have made are still being felt.

And so, I could not go by without putting something together on this special occasion. This time around, I decided on an edit with Lark Voorhies to celebrate her contributions and milestones. This edit also showcases a short snippet of the second remix I did of Lark's song "Roll with Me," and features other sampling rounding out this tribute.

Lark, I am looking forward to more great things to come from you! I hope we see you again as we did with the Saved by the Bell reimagined. I wish you nothing but the best with more opportunities coming your way in films, on tv, and other ventures. And on that note, humble I come and humble I go. I hope you guys enjoy it!
