American Top 40 from March 23rd 1985. 6 songs debut this week. "Second Nature" by Dan Hartman (#39), "Lucky" by Greg Kihn (#30), "That Was Yesterday" by Foreigner (#12), "Don't You Forget (About Me)" by Simple Minds (#1 for 1 week), "One Night In Bangkok" by Murray Head (#3), "We Are The World" by USA for Africa (#1 for 4 weeks).

The Biggest Dropper this week was "Neutron Dance" by The Pointer Sisters (down 15 notches) and the biggest mover was "Crazy for You" by Madonna moving up 12 notches (future #1 for the Boy Toy & one of 16 Top 5s in a row). BTW I've never seen "Vision Quest"!

REO Speedwagon spends its 3rd week at #1 with "Can't Fight This Feeling" and 2nd #1 Pop Hit, keeping "Material Girl" (Madonna) out of the #1 spot. Their 1st was "Keep On Loving You" from 1981.

For the 1st LDD Casey reads a sweet letter from a student in Philippines about friendships enduring forever & achieving your goals with that power of friendship. The second LDD is for couple who been married for 35 years... Wow!!

FYI full of great radio ads from this week in 1985.
