Solar EV Startup Lightyear Declares Bankruptcy - What Happened?

News broke this week that solar electric car company Lightyear has gone bankrupt. This comes just weeks after the company announced that it had begun production of the partially solar-powered BEV, the Lightyear 0. So how did this happen? In this video, I go over the brief history of Lightyear and its models, and then I give some possible reasons as to why the solar startup is now bankrupt.
