I am so happy to be able to share this video with you all, it took SUCH a long time to put together - hundreds of hours of work printing, editing, figuring out - it was crazy!

I had to figure out the time-lapse for the 3D printing as it's not quite as straightforward as I thought it would be, OctoLapse was a lifesaver though. Such a good bit of software.

The model was quite tricky to put together as the bones are from 4 different moas and some have been digitally created from mirroring the opposite bones. This meant I had to be quite liberal with the hot glue to fill in some gaps and voids to make it work.

I estimate it took about 3kg of filament to print, 630 hours and 10 hours to put together.

Phew, now back to some fossil prep!
