How to make Galaktoboureko for your family. Way easier then you might think.
Must try this recipe from the village to your table.
Ingredients
Cream:
4 big eggs or 5 small
300 gr. sugar
150 gr. semolina powder
2 tea spoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 litter of warm milk
125 gr. butter
lemon zest
500 gr. Filo
10 gr. butter
Syrup: *Preheat the oven 200C or 400F
280 gr. sugar *Bake it at 180C or 360F (for one hour)
315 ml water *Once baked, we take it out of the oven and poor
1 table spoon glucose the cold sirop on it.
Lemon zest
1 tea spoon lemon juice
1 cinnamon stick
3-4 cloves
