"Dean Bertram has a PhD in history from the University of Sydney, Australia. His doctoral dissertation was titled Flying Saucer Culture: An Historical Survey of American UFO Belief. He is a filmmaker, writer, host of Talking Weird, and co-host of Mysterious Library, both podcasts are part of the Untold Radio Network. Dean has programmed for several film festivals, and has been running them since he launched Australia’s oldest and most respected genre fest A Night of Horror International Film Festival in 2006. He is currently the festival director of MidWest WeirdFest, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin."
