Canada: Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and U.S. President Joe Biden meet in Ottawa – March 24, 2023

The speakers of the House of Commons and the Senate and representatives from the opposition parties are among those taking part in an official ceremony on Parliament Hill welcoming U.S. President Joe Biden to Ottawa for his two-day official visit. This is the American president's first official trip to Canada since taking office in 2021. He is holding meetings with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his cabinet, and addressing Parliament.
