Prosecutors accept deal with George Santos in Brazilian fraud case

Prosecutors in Brazil have agreed to a deal with Representative George Santos in regard to a fraud case. Santos is accused of defrauding a Rio De-Janeiro clerk of $1,300 with a bad check written for clothes and shoes in 2008.

Santos left Brazil and Brazilian authorities reportedly could not find an address to serve him papers to appear in court.

The case was reopened in January of this year.
