The Heart behind Atheism & Staying Grateful through Trials - Signal Traditions Podcast Episode 2

In this episode, we discuss how a heart issue often, if not always, lies at the root of Atheism (rather than a purely intellectual pursuit of truth, as many would claim). If we only address intellectual objections to Christianity, we will often miss the root cause of someone’s faith struggle or outright denial of God.

Millie also discusses how a heart position of gratitude is central when it comes to overcoming difficult trials of one’s faith. Find something to be grateful to God for, and approach Him in that way—as the Scripture says, “In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God” (Philippians 4:6).
