Car Fire on Hwy 97

Just before midnight Thursday 23/23, Vernon Fire Rescue responded to a car fire on Hwy 97 in the Northbound lane between Birnie and Kalamalka Lake View Drive. When crews arrived they found a car burning just off the highway.
A second alarm was called and Coldstream Fire responded to the scene.
No word yet on injuries or how events unfolded.
RCMP and Ambulance attended.
