Live action remakes seem to be all the rage with the Walt Disney Company and the new direct to Disney+ movie Peter Pan & Wendy is the latest to get the modern remake. The actress playing the classic Peter Pan character Tinker Bell, Yara Shahidi, has come out in a recent interview admitting that Disney always wanted to make these changes and it was all about making sure black and brown audiences feel properly represented.
