As a leader, making decisions with a consensus is great until it isn’t. Get to know your people as your organization grows, so you can make decisions when a consensus is not available.

As the organization grows, your decision making style has to evolve. Smaller organizations may have the luxury of everyone’s input, but as you grow, time may not allow you to pull everyone in. The evolution may include you having to take control of the process. So, you need to understand your people well enough to make engaging decisions that will build your organization forward.

How have you addressed decision making in a growing organization?
