AEG vs AEG Are Electric Tools Still Better Then Battery Tools ?

Every one knows cordless tools don't have anywhere near the power that electric ones do
or do they .. Stick around im going to put these two identical sanders against each other to see whether battery operated tools are still second best

So I have watched and lived thorough the evolution of battery's over the past 5 decades ..
going from led acid and alkaline to nickel cambium to nickel metal hydrate to lithium ion ..

and these changes are not small
the difference in tools because of better battery is nothing but amazing ..

I am pretty sure I still have a old cordless Ryobi here somewhere that runs off nickel cadmium and it was for lack of a more descriptive term … fucking useless ..
no seriousness that's Actually being kind …

every time u picked it up it was flat and it took a full day to charge and then when you went to use it … it was gutless you couldn't even drive a small screw in with it let alone drill a hole …
and they were expensive as hell just to ad insult to injury

even in my early 30s there was no such thing as a cordless saws or drills on a building sight ..
ya had a big ares blue 240v makita drop saw and a couple of 240v makita drills
if you turd up to a site with anything cordless you would never live it down ..
if you kept your job that is

I renumber on the farm my dad had this set of ARLEC rechargeable torches that were mounted on the wall and stayed on charge at all times till you needed one …
they were really expensive several 100 dollars and they were so useless …
you could see jack shit with them and they got dimmer by the second …

if I went on a one day job tomorrow apart from if I needed my drop saw eve thing would prob be probably cordless

just before covid I was drilling a hole in an in an upright with my cordless AGE brush-less drill when the bit caught on something and it thou my fat ass to the ground basically dislocating my shoulder in the processes … yeah that's a slite different form being able to stop a spinning chuck with your bare hands ..

So here we have two identical AGE sanders except one is cordless
I bought both of these out of my own money and no one knows who I am … I am like the invisible man … only in a hi vis shirt and steal caped boots …

well come on I could blend in anymore unless I put on a fedora and wandered around the garden section saying … what do you think dear should we put roses out the front this year …
