The Liga Privada Feral Flying Pig or Feral by Drew Estate is 5 ⅜ by 60. It is a double perfecto. The wrapper is a Connecticut Broadleaf Viso. The binder is a Brazilian Mata Fina and the filler is Nicaragua.
Like most of the Liga Privada blends, it is pricey. Depending on your state and taxes, the price can range from $20 to $34 and change per stick.

After the light up
The Feral Flying Pig opened up with a bold, smooth and full bodied flavor profile. Right off the bat I got a mix of espresso, leather, spices, and a hint of dark chocolate. The flavors are very well balanced and smooth. No one flavor dominated the other. To me, it isn’t peppery but you know the spices are there like cardamom and cinnamon. Sort of like a middle eastern dessert.

First Third
There wasn’t anything new that happened here. Still got the robust and refined flavors. The draw was excellent and the smoke was smooth. Side note, I was drinking an iced coffee with cream and enjoyed the combo. To me, coffee and cigars just go together.

Second Third
The consistency of flavor continued. Nothing had changed. But I enjoyed the very refined flavor that I’ve got from light up.

It burned fairly even. I only had to do a light touch up once. I did relight it a few times because I took longer breaks in between. The flavor was still consistent. The draw was perfect.

Final Third
I was really impressed with how good this cigar was. All the flavors became a bit more intense, due to the heat. At that point, the smoke was warmer and I only noticed espresso and leather.

Overall, I really enjoyed the Feral Flying Pig. The cigar reminded me of one of my favorite cigars, Plasencia Alma Fuerte. Now to answer if it is worth the price? I think it is definitely worth a try. I would consider this a special occasion or a celebration cigar. So far this is my favorite from the Liga Privada line.
