What people are getting wrong with defining "Woke". [ Gamerant ]

So, recently it has been trending for people who are right or center leaning to define what the word "woke" is. As it turns out, it seems harder now to find someone who can't come up with a definition of "wokeness".

While many of these definitions correctly identify the problems of "the equity fallacy" ( IE: The false belief that unequal outcomes generally indicate discrimination ) and intersectional identity politics, there is a crucial element that is missing from a lot of these definitions: The element of aggression and/or violent coercion.

The harsh truth is that Wokeism at its core is a fundamentally evil and hateful ideology that only cares about the "equality" of the groups that they have decided that they like, based on where they fall on the progressive stack. They are thus aggressors in that they attempt to attack people based on which group they belong to, either directly, or indirectly by voting for the state to enforce diversity/equity/inclusion requirements backed entirely by the threat of aggressive force for non-compliance. The claim of equality is but a mask for their true intentions. Any definition of "Woke" must call out this aggression in order for it to be truly effective.
