Urban Military Operations Explained

Is the US Military method for urban room clearing the best one? It's a relatively new procedure in the past few decades. The MOUT (Military Operations in Urban Terrain) room clearing tactics used by the army and marine corps infantry are also the same ones adopted by most western & NATO countries. Many military experts say the alternative British FIBUA (Fighting in Built Up Areas) methodical room clearing approach is better.

In this video we'll cover the military history of urban operations and room clearing. The US Army calls this battle drill 6 alpha AKA Platoon enter and clear a building. We will go over the raid procedures from kicking in a door to capturing the high valued target.
