The Tesla Model Y, an all-electric crossover, attempted to ride on the success of the Model 3, but it appears to fall short. While the Model 3 delivers an exceptional driving experience with impressive handling and range, the 2022 Model Y appears to be a lackluster effort to attract the SUV market.

Regarding performance, the Model Y has a top speed of 217 km/h, and it can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 6.9 seconds. It offers an electric range of 345 km, a total power output of 220 kW (299 PS), and total torque of 420 Nm. Additionally, the vehicle uses a rear-wheel-drive system, and its battery is a lithium-ion type with a nominal capacity of 60.0 kWh, a usable capacity of 57.5 kWh, and cathode material of LFP.

One of the most noticeable features of the Model Y is the large, slim infotainment display in the middle of the dashboard. This display controls nearly every aspect of the vehicle, including climate control and the speedometer, which may take some getting used to.
