The famous saying goes - “Show me your friends, and I’ll show you your future.” The people we choose to surround ourselves with will influence the decisions we make and impact our future, either positively or negatively. Thus, the Bible calls us to choose our friends carefully. In today’s message, Pastor Austin discusses ten things that define what makes a genuine friend.

1. A faithful friend is there in a crisis (Job 2:11-13).
2. A faithful friend graciously confronts (Prov 27:5-6).
3. A faithful friend keeps a confidence (Prov 16:28).
4. A faithful friend lifts you up (Ecc 4:10).
5. A faithful friend is willing to make sacrifices (John 15:13).
6. A faithful friend forgives (Colossians 3:13).
7. A faithful friend pushes you toward Christ (1 Cor 15:33).
8. A faithful friend gives biblical advice (Prov 27:9).
9. A faithful friend is not easily bothered (Prov 22:24-25).
10. A faithful friend loves through the hard times (Prov 17:17).
