John Holmes & The Wonderland Murders

On July 1, 1981, in a high end neighborhood in Hollywood, CA called Laurel Canyon, a moving crew was shuffling furniture into a home when they were interrupted by the distressing and seemingly pained moans coming the house next door. The prolonged harrowing cries coming from 8763 Wonderland soon became too much to ignore and at 4pm the movers called the police to alert them to the noises seeping out of the home into the streets. When the police got to the residence and made their way inside, they had no idea what kind of nightmare they would be walking into.

Immediately upon entering they could see blood everywhere, covering the furniture, soaking the carpet, and cast onto the walls and ceilings. The crime scene was spread throughout the entire two story residence, as were the victims laying lifeless where they’d been mauled to death.
