Muslims in Mecca gather for prayer to celebrate coming of holy month of Ramadan

Believers gathered on the eve of Ramadan in Mecca for the first Taraweeh prayer, reading the Koran. The holy holiday will last 30 days, and during this time Muslims will stick to dawn-to-dusk fasting, as well as give to charity and pray.
