Video discussion on the developmental history of the A2 barrel or "government profile" barrel. How it's creation was to fix the issues of the M16 and M16A1 standar profile barrel and/or "pencil barrel" that resulted in feedback from Vietnam in use of the sling or hasty sling pulling on the barrel would string shots and likewise the XM3 bipod if downward pressure was exherted.
